Gears of War: Reloaded tells the story of Marcus Fenix, a soldier freed from prison by his friend Dominic Santiago to join Delta Squad and lead a final mission against the Locust, a monstrous subterranean race that ravaged the planet Sera during “E-Day,” an event that plunged humanity into ruin and near-extinction 14 years prior. The goal of Marcus and his squad is to deploy a resonator to map the Locust’s underground network and then plant a Lightmass Bomb to destroy it.
